Fireworks + Fuel Awakening Crop Disease Resistance
When plants encounter diseases, they activate a “warning system” known as Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR). This strengthens cell walls and triggers the secretion of defence enzymes to resist pathogens. However, excessive defence response can consume energy, affecting growth and fruiting, and may eventually reduce yield.
Dual Defence and Energy Supply
Based on this, Axtra Shield introduces a “dual management” concept: activating the plant’s defence system while replenishing growth energy at the same time.
Step 1: “Fireworks” Ignite Defence
The induced resistance component in plants works like a “warning signal”. After using Axtra Shield, once pathogens attack, the plant can immediately enter a prepared state. Before bacteria cause actual harm, the “city wall” around the root system has already been strengthened and reinforced.
Step 2: “Fuel” Replenishes Energy
To avoid the plant consuming too many nutrients due to defence response, Axtra Shield is specially added with easily absorbed L-α-amino acids. Instead of letting the plant work hard to absorb and transform nutrients from the soil, these amino acids can be directly used as “ready-made energy packs”. As a result, once the defence line is established, leaves and fruits can still grow normally.
When real pathogens attack, the plant is facing a fortress with complete defence deployment and sufficient energy. This makes it difficult for pathogen zoospores to invade and establish infection, greatly reducing the risk of bacterial wilt and root rot.
After Mr. Hong, a grower from Lojing, applied Axtra Shield at 0.5ml/L on the leaf surface, the recurrence of bacterial wilt was effectively reduced. Before infection occurred, the root system had already formed a barrier against disease, while various defence enzyme activities were enhanced, making it difficult for pathogen zoospores to attach and invade.
When pathogens attempted to attack young roots, the plants were already in a high-defence state, reducing the occurrence rate of bacterial wilt and root rot.
At Advansia, we continue to focus on practical, field-tested solutions that match the real conditions faced by Malaysian growers. Whether the need is better flower retention, stronger fruit development, or more reliable disease control, timely action and suitable crop strategies remain key to achieving more stable results in the field.
