Dragon Fruit Easily Infected with Stem Blight During Rainy Season Timely Control and Prevention to Avoid Losses
When the rainy season arrives, dragon fruit is easily attacked by fungal diseases, especially stem blight, which can greatly affect yield. Through proper use of systemic fungicides, farmers can effectively prevent and control various diseases. The product can also penetrate into crop tissues, strengthening crop protection and improving resistance against fungal diseases.
With the arrival of the rainy season, various diseases, including fungal diseases, also become more active. Dragon fruit is no exception and may be attacked by different pathogens. During dragon fruit cultivation, stem and fruit diseases can easily trouble growers.
Protecting Crops from Diseases
In Mr. Wong’s 10-acre dragon fruit farm in Bukit Gambir, most of the plants remain healthy. For dragon fruit cultivation, stem blight is a common “factory” disease and also a serious problem that growers worry about. If planting areas are not properly maintained for a long period, many diseases may occur.
A copper fungicide is a systemic fungicide that can effectively prevent various diseases, especially fungal diseases. Once applied, it can quickly penetrate into the stem and fruit tissues of dragon fruit, helping to prevent and control diseases in time.
Advansia’s copper fungicide has strong penetration ability and excellent systemic movement. After being sprayed onto crops, it can be absorbed and transferred within the plant tissues. It not only provides protective effects, but also strengthens crop tissues, helping crops better resist fungal diseases.
Scientific Use Improves Crops
Mr. Wong currently uses a dosage of 20ml diluted with 20 litres of water. During the rainy season, spraying once every two weeks is enough. If the orchard has serious disease problems, the usage frequency can be increased.
After application, the stem blight condition improved clearly, and the infected areas had stopped spreading. Under Mr. Wong’s good management, the dragon fruit disease problem has shown improvement.
